ABSTRACT
Current trends of students’ self-work formation are stated. The types of multimedia technologies are considered. The Internet resource “IS-MADI: Physics” developed by the teachers of MADI Physics Department allows the teacher to form individual assignments for each student, and every student has the opportunity to use educational materials: this resource is both a learning system and a controlling one simultaneously. The results of the use of “IS-MADI: Physics” by junior students of MADI are presented. It is shown that, thanks to its application, students have an increasing cognitive motivation and motivation of achievement. A comparison of the tasks execution results by the students of the 1st and the 2nd years is carried out.
KEYWORDS: self-work of students, information system “IS-MADI: Physics”, student-centered technologies, cognitive motivation, motivation of achievement.
