ABSTRACT
The problems of training an engineer with broad professionalism, as well as a number of humanitarian competencies are considered. The issues of inclusion in the curricula of the course "History of the specialty" in the relevant disciplines and subjects, the study of the history of human knowledge development by students are investigated. The regularities of the process of humanitarization of the education system through the use of the historical method, i.e., the study of what the subject of interest was in the past, what it is now and what are the trends of its change are presented.

ABSTRACT
The article discusses the development of methods and means for measuring flow in the 20th century. By the beginning of it flow measurement had become an important task for industrial and utility purposes. Flowmeters using differential pressure values were used successfully until about 1950, when alternative methods began to appear. Approximately sixty different flow measurement methods are currently in use to meet the ever-increasing requirements for residential and industrial flow measurement of liquids, gases, vapors and solids in single phase or multiphase form. This study shows how flow measurement tools have gone from simple devices to complex measurement systems over several decades.

ABSTRACT
Information about the history of the development of technical means of instrumental research of drilling washing fluids is given. The main parameters of the control of the properties of drilling fluids, physical methods of regulating their parameters are considered. Special attention is paid to the history of the main manufacturers of devices for studying the properties and parameters of detergents.

ABSTRACT
The articletells about the first center of natural science research in the city of Kursk – the Kursk State Medical Institute, foundedin 1935. The history of the formation of its natural science school sisrestored. The factors contributing to the development of the scientificcommunity in Kursk are analyzed. The contribution of scientistswhocame to Kursk in the second half of the 1930s is out lined. XX century, in larges cientificareas of research hand in the development of the system of regional hig her medical education.

ABSTRACT
This article discusses the main prerequisites for the creation of an industrial process of sulfuric acid alkylation in the USSR. The raw material base of the first domestic pilot plant of sulfuric acid alkylation and the operation of the alkylating plant No. 25 in the conditions of commissioning of catalytic cracking plants are presented. The significance of the first Grozny pilot plant No. 25 for domestic oil refining is shown, where for the first time the features of the process of sulfuric acid alkylation on an industrial scale during the processing of various types of raw materials were studied.

ABSTRACT
The article is devoted to the historical aspects of the development of the theory of similarity, from the prehistoric period to the present. Even in ancient times, people painted various ornaments, plants, animals on rocks, walls, vessels and other household items. People sought to ensure that the image correctly displayed the natural shape of the object. Long practice told people what rules should be followed in order to correctly express the desired object on the plane, and thus there were tendencies of the doctrine of conformity to transformation. The growing needs of technological progress required the scientific development of a transformation theory that ensures the accuracy of displaying objects on a plane in compliance with dimensions.

The article tells about the generations of domestic anti-ship cruise missiles of the Naval Sea-based, their samples are considered, the features of each of the studied generations. In the process of work, an analysis of the solutions used, their advantages and disadvantages was carried out. Based on the results of the work, conclusions were drawn. The materials of the article may be useful for researchers in the field of the history of the development of domestic missile weapons.

ABSTRACT
This article continues the consideration, begun in the publications of O.G. Grokholskaya, of the pedagogical, philosophical, literary and spiritual heritage of a number of famous enlightenment scientists, nuggets of Orthodox Slavic lands Simeon Polotsky, Francis Skorina, Meleti Smotritsky, Leonty Magnitsky. The readers are presented with the educational heritage, the experience of pedagogical activity of the scientist-educator, teacher-philosopher, famous figure of Belarusian culture of the end of the XVI century, Simon Budny. From the standpoint of actualization of the ideas of the teacher and the role of his educational activities for the Slavic world, creative pedagogical ideas and the possibilities of the influence of the scientist's legacy on the development of the school today.

ABSTRACT
The processes of formation of the Ural local history and museology, the formation of scientific public organizations and the transformation of the creative intelligentsia into a significant social force in the Urals in the late nineteenth and early twentieth centuries are revealed through the prism of biographical data in the article dedicated to local historian, museum worker and public figure I.G. Ostroumov. The author comes to the conclusion that the curator of the Perm Scientific and Industrial Museum, a member of other cultural and educational societies, a participant in well-known scientific forums I.G. Ostroumov made a significant contribution to the socio-cultural life of the Ural city at the time under consideration. Some continuity was carried out at the local level in the evolution of pre-revolutionary and Soviet local history and museology thanks to such museum workers as I.G. Ostroumov.

ABSTRACT
The last third of the XIX century in Russia was marked by the entry of women into various fields of science. At this time, the first graduates of foreign universities and domestic Higher Women's courses declared themselves in the professional sphere. This article is an attempt to see the "female face" of chemistry during the initial stage of women's entry into this profession. In the period from the 1870s to the early 1900s, women could not join the staff of Russian universities and other state higher educational institutions, so they usually worked as private assistants with well-known professors. The difficult fates of several of the first women chemists at Moscow University fully reflect the state of civic consciousness characteristic of the period under consideration, when the emancipation of a woman associated with her professional realization was recognized as a criterion for the progress of society, despite the accompanying negative costs of this process.

ABSTRACT
After the socialist Revolution in Russia (1917), equality in access to education was proclaimed. The gender component in this policy was highlighted in particular. The article is about the family and contribution to science and education of the oldest employee of the Faculty of Chemistry of Lomonosov Moscow State University, Professor K.D. Shcherbakova (1917-2010). In fact, the fate of "the peer of October" became a reflection of generic metamorphoses within the framework of acquiring a new identity in the Soviet era.

ABSTRACT
The article analyzes the current relationship between the aboriginal communities of the Far North and oil companies, explores possible methods and ways of optimizing them in various areas - education, healthcare, preserving the traditional way of life, culture and crafts. A number of unresolved problems and expedient ways to resolve them, mechanisms of interaction between oil and gas businesses and the natives of the Far North are considered.

ABSTRACT
The article suggested the possibility of forming the content of education courses engineering training based on the target output of the student in the position of a conscious member of the social and professional relationships, media, broad Outlook, values broad public use in professional activity. The potential of social and humanitarian orientations in professional and personal self-preservation of specialists in times of crisis and post-crisis recovery of industrial activity is shown. Special attention is paid to the development of educational texts as sources of value and functional-applied development of engineers consciousness.

ABSTRACT
The article provides a philosophical-metaphysical, conceptual-reflective, critical and axiological analysis of the humanitarian, anthropological crisis of our era, proves that universal spiritual and moral values exist as a special activated ideal world, substantiates the necessity and imperative of the cultural-humanistic paradigm of social development to overcome this crisis, prevent an anthropological catastrophe and preserve humanity.
