ABSTRACT
The paper presents the main provisions of important areas being developed to improve the training of technical specialists. New directions of training of engineering and technical specialists in important sections are considered: humanitarization, mathematics, information and digital technologies and psychological and pedagogical skills. The issues of the formation of a holistic humanitarian outlook of future specialists are highlighted. It is popularly told about the achievements of modern mathematics, the development of optimization methods and the theory of automatic control, the use of the language of mathematics, mathematical modeling and computer technology. The paper attempts to consider the historical development of pedagogical thought and prospects for the development of engineering education.

ABSTRACT
The problem of organizing excursion activities of younger schoolchildren is considered, taking into account the implementation of the local history principle when studying the course "The World around us" in the Republic of Bashkortostan. The authors reveal the concept of "local history principle" and the features of its application in the classroom. The relevance of the use of innovative technologies, in particular, virtual excursions in the educational process is substantiated. Examples of excursions are presented when students get acquainted with the natural and cultural monuments of the Republic of Bashkortostan.

ABSTRACT
The processes of humanitarization of higher technical education are investigated. The problems of training an engineer with a broad professional and ideological outlook, as well as a number of humanitarian competencies are considered. The issues of theory and practice of strengthening teaching in technical universities of such humanities disciplines as sociology, philosophy, logic, history, Russian and foreign languages, and their relationship with special disciplines, the harmonization of knowledge through synthesis and mutual enrichment of natural science and humanities knowledge based on their universal content are presented.

ABSTRACT
The article considers the scientific and pedagogical heritage, the experience of pedagogical activity of the scientist-educator of the late XVI – early XVII centuries, the author of the first Russian textbook on mathematics, Leonty Magnitsky. In continuation of his long-term systematic historical and pedagogical research, the author actualizes the positive impact of the legacy of the famous scientist-teacher on the development of a uniform approach to teaching and studying mathematics, on the preservation of the Russian mathematical tradition of teaching the younger generation such an important ideological educational subject as mathematics.

ABSTRACT
In educational and professional communities, the participation of women in science today is one of the main topics of discussion and, to some extent, of solicitude because their representation in various scientific disciplines varies unevenly. Most of the women represented in the article are known in the scientific community, but few of them have received wide recognition in the respective writings. The main intention of this work is to raise awareness and understanding of the role of women in the development of science by reflecting the history of their activities, important contributions to science and technology, relying on both primary and secondary literary sources.

ABSTRACT
The article presents an overview of foreign and domestic publications in the period from 1948 to present, in which the historiography of the study of the phenomena of ion exchange and the evolution of the method of ion exchange chromatography was reflected. The main facts and stages of development outlined in these publications are summarized and highlighted. It should be noted that before the start of this study, the history of ion-exchange chromatography was not paid enough attention in the scientific literature. Most often, the authors of articles, reviews and monographs were limited to a superficial presentation of information about the emergence and development of the method of ion exchange chromatography and the theory of ion exchange. The presented historiography confirms the need for a systematic study of the history of the formation and development of ideas, the determination of factors and drivers of development of both ion-exchange chromatography and the method of chromatography in general.

ABSTRACT
The Paper is devoted to development of methods and means of measuring fluid flow from ancient times to the XIX century, and also notes the scientists who have made the greatest contribution in this field. The history of measuring methods and means of measuring flow begins more than a thousand years ago, but the first principles of their work began to be understood only in the last four centuries. The study shows how the tasks for flow measurement tools changed: the first flow meters were aimed at accounting for water when it was sold to the consumer, and towards the end of the 19th century, they began to be used for industrial and municipal purposes. Flow measurement methods invented in the 19th century actually determined the principles of operation of most modern flow meters. Creating a holistic historical and technical overview of the development of flow measurement methods is an important task in the history of science and technology.

ABSTRACT
The aim of the study is to analyze the history of the formation of oil production and pipeline transport in Russia in the late 19th - early 20th centuries. The authors examined the stages of development of oil production in the key oil regions of Russia, identified the main reasons for the emergence of a massive development of drilling oil wells and the construction of oil and oil product pipelines. The contribution of the main scientists who took an active part in the development of the design and operation of transport and storage facilities for oil and oil products is noted. The key pipelines built before 1917 are considered.

ABSTRACT
The article highlights some aspects of the formation and development of methods of vibration diagnostics. The works of scientists who have made the greatest contribution to the formation of the diagnostic industry have been studied. The analysis of existing methods for detecting equipment defects has been carried out and the most promising directions for the development of trouble-free operation of rotary machines have been identified.

ABSTRACT
The library and educational work of guardianships of people's sobriety in the Urals in the late 19th and early 20th centuries, aimed at providing the Ural residents with opportunities for cultural leisure in order to distract them from drunkenness is analyzed in the article. The author shows that there were more than 500 free public libraries and reading rooms, there was an increase in the readership, which accounted for approximately 2% of the Ural society (peasants and workers were the predominant social categories among readers) at the beginning of the 20th century in the Ural region, thanks to guardianships. The specificity of the libraries and reading rooms of the guardianships in the Urals was the availability of literature aimed at combating drunkenness and alcoholism. The author emphasizes that the guardianships of people's sobriety in the late 19th – early 20th centuries in the Urals (as well as in Russia as a whole) failed to stop the process of alcoholization, that does not exclude the conclusion about their important historical significance, due to the contribution of the guardianships of people's sobriety to the development of the book culture of the Ural society. The population of the Urals was introduced to classical and other literature thanks to the libraries and reading rooms of the guardianships. There had been a significant increase in interest in other types of book production (natural science and other sciences), as well as a wide range of periodicals along with the traditional preferences of the people given to spiritual, religious and historical literature.

ABSTRACT
The article examines the development, testing and acceptance into service in the USSR of the first sea-based anti-ship cruise missile KSSH (P-1). When creating a rocket, new technical solutions were used, some of which are still used today. In the process of work, an analysis of the solutions used, their advantages and disadvantages was carried out. Based on the results of the work, conclusions were drawn. The materials of the article may be useful for researchers in the field of the history of the development of domestic missile weapons.

ABSTRACT
The work is devoted to the historical aspects of the development of medical information and intellectual technologies by Kursk scientists in the period from the mid-90s of the twentieth century to the present. Their contribution to the development of interactive image recognition systems, methods of processing electrophysiological signals, the theory of biophysics of acupuncture is revealed. It is shown how, based on the study of the advantages and disadvantages of modern approaches to the use of the theory of fuzzy logic of decision-making in various spheres of human activity, a methodology for the synthesis of hybrid fuzzy decision rules was developed, which allowed solving important practical problems in the field of medicine, ecology, psychology, and other related fields.

ABSTRACT
The article is devoted to a historical review of the contribution of Kursk scientists to solving the problems of reducing the level of occupational diseases based on the use of modern information and intellectual technologies. Their contribution to the development of research on the mental functions of a human operator with an assessment of his functional state as the ability to effectively perform the work of a human operator is revealed. It is shown how, developing the ideas of fuzzy logic of decision-making, Kursk scientists have developed a unique methodology for the synthesis of decision rules with the help of which knowledge bases of decision support systems are designed that can be trained for various classes of tasks in the field of occupational diseases and social hygiene.

ABSTRACT
The paper analyzes the history of evolution of Russian and foreign tools for teaching basics of programming by such properties as type of programming, visualization of program’s execution, the place of the system in the educational process. Based on the revealed patterns of changes in properties in accordance with the laws of complication of technical systems and the transition of the system into a suprasystem, 4 stages of the development of teaching the basics of programming are determined. The use of VR/AR-technologies and personalization in tools for teaching the basics of programming are identified as perspective areas of evolution.

ABSTRACT
The article considers the stages of studies of radical ion reactions of cyclic acetals and their heteroanalogues by the scientific school of D.L. Rakhmankulov. In particular, studies on the preparation of radical anions from 5-nitro-1,3-diheterocycloalkanes and the directions of their transformations are analyzed. Information on the main features of the homolytic alkylation of protonated aromatic bases with 1,3-diheterocycloalkanes is summarized.
