ABSTRACT
The article discusses the features of the methodology for conducting laboratory work in the course of general physics at a technical university in the conditions of a competency-based approach to education. Various types of educational studies aimed at determining the boundaries of applicability of physical models aredescribed. Based on the considered examples of educational research, the possibility and necessity of designing a training experiment, the main purpose of which is to form the concept of a physical model in students, is discussed. Examples of setting up such laboratory works and the results of their use in the educational process are considered.

ABSTRACT
Description of the state and prospects of school astronomical education by the standards of the second generation is considered in the article. The methods and techniques of increasing the motivation of younger students to study astronomy are considered. One of the ways to increase interest in astronomy is to organize a design workshop for design activities. On the basis of the design activities, students learn the basic astronomical concepts, get acquainted with astronomical technology and the principle of their action, they study in parallel the history of the issue. The stages of the lesson to establish models of astronomical instruments, spacecraft, etc. are considered in detail.

ABSTRACT
The article deals with the problems of formation of students ' knowledge, competencies and values related to socio-humanitarian meanings of their future activities. The priorities of modern technical education guaranteeing its high quality are shown. It is proposed to create special training at the graduating departments in the structure of technical higher educational institutions units, which in the future can be converted into departments of engineering pedagogy. New directions of training of specialists with the possibility of multidisciplinary education are presented, the main and important of which are mathematical possibilities of basic disciplines, humanitarian components, information and digital technologies.

ABSTRACT
The article is devoted to problems of localization of the archaeological site. The study made comparison current archaeological information about the fortified settlements of the Ufa-Belayainterfluve and historical data sources the middle XVIII - early XX centuries with the involvement of remote sensing the Earth's surface. These procedures allowed obtaining the original conclusions about the name, location, and the ratio of fortified towns of the region.

ABSTRACT
The Essay is devoted to the history of creation and improvement of lead-acid battery in the second half of the XIX century, when the basic principles of design and operation of batteries of this type were laid (established). This progress was achieved thanks to the creative inventive activity of outstanding scientists and inventors such as Gaston Plante, Camille Faure, Ernest Volkmar, John Sellon, Evgeny Tveritinov and others.

ABSTRACT
For the first time in the article, the article discusses the history of the preparation and conduct of a scientific session dedicated to the ethnogenesis of the Bashkir people, which took place on May 13–15, 1969 in Ufa. The features of the work and the composition of the conference participants in general and each of the three sections in particular are analyzed. The author concludes that the scientific and practical conference, which celebrated a half-century anniversary in May 2019, was important for studying the ethnic history of the Bashkirs and sees the need for a similar forum devoted to this issue.

ABSTRACT
The article considers the questions of the changing of the teaching forms and methods at higher schools due to the new social-pedagogical situation conditional on the reforming of the higher education. An emphasis on the upgrading of the training of specialists, development of skills of independent thinking with the support in learning opportunity is made. New approaches to teaching at higher school, based on its computerization and educational paradigm change, are listed and described. The role of archives in the teaching activation at higher schools in Samara region, in character formation of the future specialists, in the humanization of the knowledge of the students is analyzed. In the article the reasonability of the teaching of the elective course “The story of science and engineering” at technical institutes is demonstrated. Attention is drawn to the extreme narrowness of the documentary base and publications on the history of the Russian oil industry in the Soviet period, its significant change for the better in connection with the Informatization of archival business in the post-Soviet years, which significantly expanded the possibilities of working with documentary material. All these factors have significantly enlarged the possibilities of working with documentary information. The conclusion about the necessity of the more active using of documentary material on the story of the oil industry in the teaching process and the need of the establishing of the closer partnership relations between archives and institutes is made.

ABSTRACT
The name of Albert Einstein is perceived by most people respectfully and even with enthusiasm. This name has become a household name, as a symbol of high intelligence and revolutionary scientific ideas, expanding the horizons of knowledge. However, the luminous image of the “ingenious” scientist, who allegedly discovered many physical laws, faded greatly after his archives had been declassified. It turned out that he was not so great, because he had been mistaken and was constantly confused. Moreover, it turned out that he had borrowed shamelessly many ideas, appropriating the palm of primacy.

ABSTRACT
The actualization of the archaeological research of the New Age in recent years is linked with the need to study the material culture of the population of XVI - early XX century in Bashkiria. The main mass archaeological material found in these settlements is pottery distinguished by the local features of its production technologies. The insufficient number of works devoted to the analysis of the identified artifacts in settlements of XVI - early XX centuries often leads to an inaccurate interpretation of the archaeological site and its dating. One of the examples is Taptykovsky village, where pottery ceramics of the Russian population of the XVII - XVIII centuriy discovered by several archaeologists was mistakenly brought into correlation with the Golden Horde period.
